Excerpt from article by Oriana Parker:

One of the Scottsdale art scene's great attractions is the ease of close encounters with artists.  For instance, contemporary-art enthusiasts might make an appointment to visit Lezli Goodwin in her North Scottsdale studio.  "I paint exclusively monochrome abstract canvases in acrylics and inks (such as the Blue Squares series)," says Goodwin, an exciting young painter who recently relocated here from the Midwest.  "Minimalism allows me to focus all of my energy on that one element that contains the image's essence while still keeping a fresh modern approach."  The painter's work has been shown in Phoenix, Denver and Washington, D.C., as well as Bari, Italy.
